Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs Sued for Rape. Recording distributed as porn
Sean "Diddy" Combs is facing a new lawsuit accusing him of sexual violence. A woman, identified as Thalia Graves, claims she was drugged and raped at Combs' studio, and later humiliated when she discovered the assault had been filmed and shown to others.
The civil lawsuit, filed Tuesday in New York federal court, alleges that in 2001, Combs and an associate named Joseph Sherman raped Graves at a Manhattan recording studio owned by Bad Boy Records. The complaint, filed by attorney Gloria Allred, states that Graves was lured to the studio under the guise of discussing her then-boyfriend’s job performance, a Bad Boy Records employee at the time.
Graves claims she was given a drink that was likely spiked, after which she lost consciousness. She awoke to find herself bound and sexually assaulted by Combs and Sherman. According to the lawsuit, Graves, now 48, alleges the men "mercilessly raped her," leaving her with lasting physical and emotional trauma, despite her pleas for help.
The lawsuit further states that in November 2023, Graves learned that the assault had been recorded and shared with others, including her then-boyfriend. This revelation, according to the complaint, devastated her and deepened her emotional suffering.
Combs' representatives have yet to respond to the allegations.
This lawsuit is the latest in a series of legal challenges for Combs, who has faced multiple accusations of sexual violence in recent months. He is currently facing federal charges, including racketeering and sex trafficking, following his recent arrest.
Joseph Sherman, a longtime associate of Combs, is also named in Graves' lawsuit. The complaint alleges that Sherman has a history of recording and distributing non-consensual sexual acts.
Graves is seeking compensatory and punitive damages, as well as a court order to destroy any remaining copies of the video of the attack.
