Following the alleged assault, Roe contends Brooks continued to harass her with unwanted advances and explicit conversations, even suggesting a threesome involving his wife. As John Doe, Brooks countered these claims, stating that Roe’s legal representative sent a "confidential" letter accusing him of misconduct after he refused her demand for employment benefits.
Brooks' previous lawsuit insists that Roe's claims are false and emphasizes the potential destruction to his reputation, family, and career if the allegations were publicized. Responding, Roe’s legal team criticized Brooks' Mississippi lawsuit as an act of intimidation.
