Kate Winslet recently shared a captivating story about a memorable reunion with a familiar face from her iconic film "Titanic." During an appearance on "The Graham Norton Show," the acclaimed actress discussed her latest project, "Lee," in which she portrays the legendary model-turned-war photographer Lee Miller from the World War II period.

Winslet revealed that while she had executive produced various projects before, "Lee" marked her debut as a full-fledged producer. This role demanded her engagement from inception to completion, including overseeing the film's musical score during post-production.

In London, while attending the orchestral recording, Winslet spotted a violinist whose face seemed strikingly familiar. "I’m looking at this violinist and I thought, ‘I know that face!’" she recounted. Other orchestra members discreetly gestured towards him, silently mouthing, "It’s him!" This only deepened Winslet’s curiosity: "Am I related to this person? Who is this person?"

Eventually, at the day's end, Winslet approached the orchestra to unravel the mystery. She was overjoyed to discover that he was one of the violinists who performed on the doomed Titanic in James Cameron’s 1997 masterpiece. "It was that guy!" Winslet enthused, describing the encounter as "just wonderful."

Reflecting on the experience, she shared, "We had numerous moments like that during the film, where individuals I've collaborated with before, or have known for years, unexpectedly appeared, and it was incredible."

"Lee" premiered in theaters in late September and is now available for rental or purchase on AppleTV+ or Amazon Prime.
