Jennifer Hudson queries Common on his marriage intentions
Common is making it clear—he’s here to stay, Jennifer Hudson. The songstress and daytime television personality welcomed her rapper and actor beau onto “The Jennifer Hudson Show” this week, where their chat veered toward Common’s candid thoughts on matrimony.
Hudson referenced Common’s stint on “The Breakfast Club” earlier this summer, where he praised their “really healthy and beautiful relationship.” He also hinted that if he were to ever tie the knot, Hudson would be the one.
“I heard you’ve been mentioning marriage out there. What’s going on with that?” Hudson inquired.
“You know, you once shared a saying from your mom, ‘A man knows what he wants,’” Common replied. “I was simply expressing my genuine emotions, like, listen, Jennifer is the one.”
“If marriage is in my future, it will be with Jennifer Kate Hudson,” he affirmed. “I was just keeping it real.”
Hudson’s delight was hard to miss.
These two Oscar laureates have been the subject of romantic speculation since 2022 and officially revealed their relationship during her show in January 2024.
Common’s past romantic entanglements include singer Erykah Badu, actress Taraji P. Henson, tennis legend Serena Williams, and comedian Tiffany Haddish.
