Addressing last week's US election results, Bridges confessed to host Jimmy Kimmel that he, too, felt disappointment. He acknowledged that he's navigating the grieving process that accompanies such events. In this journey, Bridges expressed feeling a call to embody courage.

In line with this vision, Bridges highlighted Share Our Strength, an organization dedicated to combating hunger through initiatives like the No Kid Hungry campaign. Their mission focuses on addressing the root causes of hunger to bolster financial security for families. As the national spokesperson for No Kid Hungry, Bridges emphasized his commitment to this cause, describing it as his calling to "share our strength" through advocacy.

Earlier in the conversation, Bridges reminisced about the US Coast Guard motto, "Semper Paratus," meaning "always prepared" or "always ready." A motto he embraced during his service in the Reserve from 1967 to 1975.

Reflecting on this motto, Bridges pondered how to remain prepared in challenging times. "Life encompasses both highs and lows, strikes and gutters," he mused, alluding to "The Big Lebowski," the iconic film where he stars. "This is how we roll through life.
