Chynna Phillips Baldwin reveals she and husband Billy Baldwin live apart, admitting they have 'an allergy to each other'
Chynna Phillips Baldwin has candidly discussed her unique marital arrangement with her spouse. In a fresh video shared on her YouTube channel, the Wilson Phillips vocalist disclosed that she and her husband of nearly three decades opted to reside in separate Californian cities.
"Billy and I have embarked on this novel type of setup that truly suits me," she expressed. "I'm uncertain if it's ideal for Billster, but I'm genuinely content with our current approach."
Phillips Baldwin elaborated, suggesting to her husband, "Why not experiment by having me in Santa Barbara and you in Beverly Hills, then switch roles?"
During this period, she noted, "We enjoy date nights, attend therapy, dine with our kids, and visit the beach or museums."
The couple, wed since 1995, are parents to three: daughters Jameson, 24, and Brooke, 19, and son Vance, 22. Though Baldwin seemed less enthused by the arrangement, he agreed to attempt it.
The duo discussed the setup in the video via FaceTime, with Phillips Baldwin telling her husband, "I believe we're onto something significant."
"I truly do, because we delight in each other's company. It's challenging to convey to others that we're deeply in love, we relish each other's presence, we value our marriage, and we never intend to part," she explained.
"We just require some time apart as we're somewhat allergic to each other. And that's perfectly alright. I am confident many couples share similar experiences."
Baldwin interjected, "Truthfully, you're the one with the allergy."
"My energy seems to trigger a reaction in you... see, your back just tensed," he noted.
Previously, the couple has been transparent about their marital struggles, including a six-month separation. In January, they revealed on her channel that they hadn't been aligned since her spiritual transformation.
"But I still completely love you, absolutely adore you, and fully support you," Baldwin told his wife then. "That's why I'm present here now.
